It is much harder to pick every time different selector. I'm also afraid no computer would have enough available memory for such benchmark. Anyway, good point.

Oh, one more thing – I think that tests should be taken with different selectors everytime, not N times on the same. I don't remember how in moo.tools is but AFAIK jQuery uses selector caching.

Ups, you've probably forgotten the fact, that jQuery uses SizzleJS selector engine and it can be used separately.
